Avenue Bread has other locations in Bellingham and the Fairhaven district. You know a place is good when over the years they expand out into new locations.
3. Lynden Dutch Bakery

Not really a place for a full meal, but if we are talking about the best eats in Lynden, it deserves a mention. The Dutch bakery has been serving Lynden for over 110 years. They offer a small indoor and outdoor seating area, a full coffee bar, and delicious pastries.
Since remodeling a few years back, they no longer serve soup and sandwiches, instead, go here for a coffee and pastry, or for a treat. Serving classic bakery fare as well as Dutch delights this is popular with locals and visitors alike.
They have a second location in the Fairway Center called Just Desserts which is less crowded.

4. Fairway Cafe

On the weekends, we like to get here early to avoid the crowds. If you are looking for hearty portions of meat and potato style home cooking, this is the place.
5. Newsroom Pub
