About

The Lightcatcher building is part of the Whatcom Museum. Located in Bellingham, WA, the Lightcatcher offers various art exhibitions, a hands-on Family Interactive Gallery (FIG), and a Museum Store for unique finds.

The FIG at Lightcatcher museum is a space with art activities and interactive programs for families and children. It offers educational experiences in various areas like science, art, and problem-solving. Visitors can explore different activities and create art in the studio.

The collections also include exhibits from the area’s Indigenous peoples, including a large collection of baskets.

This modern building gets it’s name from the massive glass wall that let’s in the sunlight. In the Northwest, we’ll take all we can get.
